The acrobatic dance (Agasimbo) asserts itself as the main artistic specialty of the Buragane region in the province of Makamba.  Only male groups perform this dance. The Makamba Agasimbo Dance Club on Kayoba Hill is the most famous. During the show, the dancers wear a wreath of bird feathers set around their heads and are dressed in raffia fibers knotted over the pelvis. By dancing, the artists use their legs and hands to perform aerial movements, turn around on their bodies and stand by touching the ground with different hands. These dancers are nationally and internationally renowned. The club can constantly mobilize to welcome foreign tourists.
